Lagalla (crater)
Encyclopedia
Lagalla is the remnant of a lunar
crater
. Wilhelm
partly overlies the northeastern rim, and Montanari
is attached to the southeast. The remainder of the rim is heavily eroded, with small craters overlaying sections along most of the sides. The rim is nearly nonexistent to the south, and the most intact portion is along the northwest. Lagalla F, an irregular satellite crater, is attached to the western rim. The interior floor is uneven but relatively featureless.
Moon
The Moon is Earth's only known natural satellite,There are a number of near-Earth asteroids including 3753 Cruithne that are co-orbital with Earth: their orbits bring them close to Earth for periods of time but then alter in the long term . These are quasi-satellites and not true moons. For more...

Attached to its southern rim is the crater Montanari, while Lagalla is attached to the southwest. To the north-northeast...

Satellite craters
By convention these features are identified on lunar maps by placing the letter on the side of the crater mid-point that is closest to Lagalla.Lagalla | Latitude | Longitude | Diameter |
