). The town is located near the popular Masai Mara National Reserve, but few tourists visit the town.
There is a good murram road from the town through the neighbouring town of Lolgorien to the Mara. This road takes you to the Oloololo side of the park and is a good alternative to the Narok road especially for anyone coming from Western Kenya.
