. During historic times there was no cement and all brick-laying and building and construction works was done by using lime-paste being made in lime kilns, which needed special skills and training. The making of this lime-paste required skilled knowledge. The bricks or stones were joined using this lime-paste (chuna) and sand. Further, the community was also expert in the art of stone cutting and besides sculpting could also cut rocks repetitively to same to sizes to be used for construction.

This skill and knowledge used to be passed on from generation to generation, as hereditary, by special training since childhood.

Now kadia are grown and many of them are living out side of India like USA, UK, Canada, Africa and in other part of the world. The educational level of the caste on its one of the highest level and many of them are become doctor, advocate, ca and engineers some of them are become a good businessmen and contribute there hand in the help of society. Kadia community is now one of the best community in the current situation. Bahuchar Mataji is the mainly devotee goddess of the community and they pray them daily.
