The making of this lime-paste required skilled knowledge. The bricks or stones were joined using this lime-paste (chuna) and sand. Further, the community was also expert in the art of stone cutting and besides sculpting could also cut rocks repetitively to same to sizes to be used for construction.
This skill and knowledge used to be passed on from generation to generation, as hereditary, by special training since childhood.
