UPN, which went off the air in September 2006 after a merger with The WB to form The CW, never again had a full-time affiliate in the El Paso area.

On November 16, 2010 Telemundo El Paso aired their first 5 and 10 pm first newscast "Telenoticias El Paso" in High Definition making it the first HD Spanish newscast in the city.
