The ideas and ideals on which K J Somaiya built this institute revolve around imbibing cultural values among the youth while simultaneously imparting global perspective.

The institute imparts quality education in the fields of -
in Mumbai. It a part of the 90 acre extensive Somaiya Ayurvihar campus which also houses the K. J. Somaiya Hospital, Medical College and Cancer Research Centre. The campus has large grounds that host open cricket and football matches. In addition, the campus has Basketball and Volleyball courts. The campus is conveniently located off the Eastern Express Highway
near Sion. It is close to Sion
Railway Station on the Central Railway Line and Chunabhatti
Railway Station on the Harbour Railway Line. The college building is an 8 storey structure and houses all the departments of the college, as well as a canteen and a gymkhana.
