. The life expectancy is 12-13 years. An adult hound can weigh anywhere from 40 to 55 pounds and is from usually 16 to 20 inches (40-50 cm) tall.
In France some breeders are rebuilding this race and it is known as "Jura Hound type French Saint Hubert".
