in 1964. She is the sister-in-law of long time Vancouver radio personality Brian (Frosty) Forst. In 1968 she won the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions

Forst made her debut at the Metropolitan Opera
on September 19, 1968 at the age of 24 in the small role of the Page in Rigoletto

will be produced by City Opera Vancouver, with a generous commissioning grant from the Canada Council, and assistance from Tom Lee Music and Steinway & Sons.
