Other related works include his transcriptions and arrangements of works of South American folkloric character, of de Spanish Renaissance and Baroque, and of other countries and periods. In addition to credits as a concert guitarist, composer and musicologist, Jorge Cardoso is also medical doctor at the National University of Córdoba Argentina, (1973). He is the founder and director of the ORQUESTA DE CAMARA DE GUITARRAS DE MADRID and the Director of Alsace, Lambesc, Beauvezer (France), Festival Iberoamericano de Guitarra of Maroc (Instituto Cervantes) and Posadas (Argentina) Internationals Guitar Festivals. Jorge Cardoso is president of GUIA (Guitarristas de América), international organization dedicated to the diffusion of the music of Americas.
