“J.O.B the Hip-Hopera” which earned him a Los Angeles Ovation Award nomination for best sound design. In 2007, Joe Barrucco completed the entire sound design for the film
entitled “The Colony” written and directed by Jeff Barnaby and produced by Eye Steel Film. “The Colony” won the 2007 ImagineNative Film Festival award for “Best Short Film”. Also, “The Colony” was officially selected to be a part of the “2007 Toronto International Film Festival”. “The Colony” will be broadcast on CBC Television
