During the 2008 Reform Party of the United States national convention, Zychick was the only delegate from New Jersey
, which at the time didn't have an active Reform Party. He cast his vote for presidential hopeful Frank McEnulty
during the party's nomination process.
In October 2010, Zychick became National Secretary of the Reform Party of the United States, thus earning an asterisk in history books as the youngest national committee-member of a United States political party. That same month, Zychick travelled to Dallas, Texas
to speak with Ross Perot

during a highly publicized meeting.
