. According to Gaffney, Cline and Associates (GCA), Yolotan is five times larger than Dauletabad and fourth or fifth largest gas field in the world.
In December 2009, the contracts to develop the field were awarded to CNPC, South Korea's LG International
and Hyundai Engineering and the UAE's Petrofac Emirates. While CNPC and Petrofac Emirates will be responsible for gas production, a consortium of LG International and Hyundai Engineering will build a gas processing plant by the third quarter of 2012.
Oil reserves are 300 million tons. The crude oil extracted at Ýolöten is transported to the Seýdi
Oil Refinery.

Description
The gas field ranks among the world's five biggest with estimated reserves of between 4 and 14 trillion cubic meters (tcm) of natural gas, and proven commercial reserves of 2.8 tcm. It lies on 2700 square kilometres (1,042.5 sq mi) zone of 90 kilometres (55.9 mi) in length and 30 kilometres (18.6 mi) in width in the depth of 3900 to 5100 m (12,795.3 to 16,732.3 ft). The Ýolöten field is bordered with the Minara field in north, Osman field in south, and Yashlar field in east. Other nearby gas areas are Gunorta Garakel, Garakel, Giurgiu, Gazanly, Gundogar Eloten and Gunbatar Yandakly.Oil reserves are 300 million tons.
