 and Macedonian businessmen and the moral support of Turkish and Macedonian professors. The university commenced in 2006 with only seven students. Now the university educates more than 500 students from different nationalities.

Accreditation

The university has their licenses and accreditation from Macedonian Ministry of Education for five faculties. In year 2008, the representatives of the Turkish High Education (YÖK) made their first visit to IBU, and now it is recognized by YÖK.
