In the city the population was spread out with 45.1% under the age of 18, 9.8% from 18 to 24, 23.5% from 25 to 44, 17.3% from 45 to 64, and 4.3% who were 65 years of age or older. History
Highland was settled by homesteaders in the 1870s. It was named by Scottish Mormon immigrants who felt the area resembled the highlands of Scotland.Demographics
