river in the northern Napfgebiet
. It is a typical, for the alpine region, settlement of scattered farmhouses, alpine meadow grazing and forestry settlements.
In the 2007 election the most popular party was the CVP
which received 54.7% of the vote. The next three most popular parties were the SVP
(24%), the FDP
(15.3%) and the SPS
