with a covered footbridge leading to the station's exit. It was opened in 1978. It once used to contain a glass waiting room/area, but was later torched by local youths. It is a 3 car stop. It has car parking spaces and once used to have a 201/211 bus service run to the station before continuing through Hattersley to the terminus or going to Hyde and Manchester.

Services

Monday to Saturday during the day time trains run every 20 minutes to Manchester and to Glossop/Hadfield, of a night time trains run every 30 minutes. On Sunday throughout the day train services run every 30 minutes to Manchester and to Glossop/Hadfield.
