The money earned does not count on the official LPGA money list, making the event an unofficial part of the LPGA Tour.

In 2009 the field included 15 players including 14 LPGA Tour members and a Brazilian amateur. In 2010, the field included 27 players, mostly top Latin American players, not necessarily members of the LPGA Tour.
