- 2003, Feb 27: Sea King helicopter crashes on flight deck of HMCS Iroquois three days after departing Halifax to become flagship of multi-national Task Force 151 in Persian Gulf region. Two of the four helicopter crewmembers sustained minor injuries in the crash. Iroquois forced to return to Halifax.
