Hockey Club Slovan Bratislava is a professional ice hockey
team in the Slovak Extraliga
from the Slovak capital Bratislava. They play their home games at Samsung Arena
.
After World War II was for long the only Slovan Slovak representatives in the highest league, and several became Crown Prince. The only title in the Czechoslovak national hockey league in the category of adult acquired under the guidance of coach Ladislav Horsky in the 1978/79 season. In addition, men gathered in the eighties titles in a row again, older and younger Cadets. In the seasons 1974 - 1979 Cadets get older four world titles in five years.
After the separation of Slovakia Slovan seven became Master of the SR in the category of adults and eleven Master SR youth categories, from senior to junior students.
In addition to the successes achieved in Slovakia Slovan several successes on the international ice. Spengler Cup tournament in Europe, the oldest managed to win 3 times in a row in 1972 - the 1974th It is also one of the four clubs of Europe, which played all 4 years of the European Hockey League, while always progressed from the group in the final battle. The highlight of the International Forum was winning the Continental Cup in the 2003/2004 season.
Colors, which accompanied the club in its history, and blue whiting were today by the deep red color. Today the club consists of organizational stock company which includes a center for talented youth and junior categories, adolescents and men, and the civic association, which covers the services of talented youth activities (sports hockey classes) and hockey preparation.

History
The Sports club Slovan Bratislava was founded in 1919 as a football club, then still called 1.CsSK Bratislava. In 1921, football was added to the header CsSK hockey. First, just like a bunch of hockey since 1924, the Canadian hockey.
