Graduated from QUT Creative Industries with a degree in Film and TV, and is currently featured on their No Walls student showcase website.

Gyton Grantley is actively involved with the Australian organisation, Reach Out!

Controversy arose in early 2007 over Grantley's fundraising efforts to pay for a personal trip into space. His website claimed to donate a cut to the Starlight Foundation
