The phrase, “Green Chip Stocks”, which refer to the publicly traded companies in the green market has been accredited to Jeff Siegel. He first used the saying in 2004, and has since been a successful entrepreneur in that sector with a weekly investment service by the name of GCS (Green Chip Stocks).
