Previously they had gained some popularity after being chosen by WAAF to appear on their Miss Mantown DVD in 2006 with their songs "BBQ Nation" and "BBQ Girl", both from their debut album Graveyard BBQ Greatest Hits Volume One, which was released in 2005. Since then they have been active in competing in various contests, including the BoDog Music Battle of the Bands in Boston.
