There has not been a population census since the war. However, it is known that Bosnian Serbs are a majority in the municipality.
In 2003, after the war, the population was estimated to be less than 5000. NATO sources say that 3500 Serbs had returned by 2003 and some 700 Bosnian Muslims. There are also 700 Bosnian Croats there.
