In 1952 the kibbutz split up, like other kibbutzim, as part of the schism of the kibbutz movement. In 1953 it moved to its present location, near its agricultural lands. The members of the kibbutz who transferred to the Union of Kibbutzim after the schism founded the kibbutz Einat
