Founded in 1950 by Holocaust survivors Samuel Ganz and his sons Jack Ganz and Sam Ganz, it was called Ganz Bros. Toys Limited and was well known to generations of Canadians who had the products in their home. They were major carnival suppliers and manufactured many products in their own factory until switching completely to offshore production to save costs.
