  • 1983: Hotelier Josef Kieser Sr. and some befriended hoteliers from the Franken region in Germany

    established the cooperation. During the same year, the cooperation expanded throughout Germany, thus establishing a German-wide hotel chain.
  • 1990: after the "Re-unification" of Germany, lots of hotels from East Germany joined.
  • 1993: first Austrian Flair Hotels joined

  • 2000: first French Flair Hotel
  • 2004: first Swiss Flair Hotel
