Buzzard married May, daughter of Edward Bliss, on 21 March 1899. They had two sons and three daughters, Margaret (Gardiner-Hill), Anthony, Sylvia, Teddy and (Bella Acworth). He died in December 1945, aged 73, and was succeeded in the baronetcy by his only son, Sir Anthony Wass Buzzard
