Falabella was born in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Udine Falabella and his wife Leonor Arellano Falbella. Udine Falabella was a candy maker. Enrique's mother died when he was five years old. At the age of 12, Falabella and his surviving family members converted to Mormonism
