Early life
Born in Florence, Marrone has always lived in Aradeo in the province of Lecce. She acquired her passion for music from her father Rosario, guitarist of a band from Aradeo called "Karadreon" which formed when Marrone was quite young (10–11 years old), performing in festivals and in clubs. . The group released a single in 2003 called Stile. The single was released for Universal label and was good success. In 2006 the group recorded the soundtrack of the cartoon W.I.T.C.H and was released a dance album called LS3, that was a commercial failure.
The group disbanded after the failure of the album.
Mjur, Amici and first solo record Oltre
In 2009, after that she released a second album with another group, the M.J.U.R., in 2008 for Dracma Records, she took part to another talent show, Amici di Maria De FilippiAmici di Maria De Filippi

The EP has been certified triple platinum for its sales in Italy.
In June, she began her first concert-tour: Ahi ce sta passu tour. She toured throughout Italy

accompanied by her band, the tour is terminated at the end of summer. In the same month, she also took part to the Amici Tour 2010 with all the contestants of the talent show. On July 2010 was released the second single from Oltre: Un Sogno A Costo Zero. After the tour, she also released the video for the third single Sembra Strano.
Second solo record: A me piace così
On 24 September 2010 was released a new single called Con le nuvole. On October 19 was released, also from Universal, her second solo record A me piace cosìA me piace così
