Edmund Schulthess was a Swiss

He was the son of Edmund Schulthess (Landwirt, 4 January 1826 - 10 April 1906) and wife (m. 15 May 1851) Cornelia Brigitta Marth (22 June 1828 - 22 February 1896).
He was elected to the Swiss Federal Council
on 17 July 1912 and handed over office on 15 April 1935. He was affiliated to the Free Democratic Party
