Edmonton Public Schools operates 195 schools. The operating budget is $835 million for the 2009-2010 fiscal year. There is a total of 127 elementary schools, 20 elementary/junior high schools, 7 elementary/junior/senior high schools, 26 junior high schools, 13 senior high schools, and 24 other educational programs are offered.
