    In recent years, average temperatures in the county seat of Paris have ranged from a low of 16 °F (-8.9 °C) in January to a high of 86 °F (30 °C) in July, although a record low of -23 °F was recorded in January 1930 and a record high of 109 °F (42.8 °C) was recorded in July 1936. Average monthly precipitation ranged from 2.23 inches (5.7 cm) in January to 4.43 inches (11.3 cm) in July.
