.Dildarnagar is a popular market place for the surrounding villages and is an important railway station as it is the last railway junction of Uttar Pradesh before a train enters Bihar border on the Delhi-Howrah railway route. There are about 5 railway colonies. Dildarnagar Railway Zone falls under Danapur section. About 125+ passenger trains pass Dildarnagar Junction throughout the day. Varanasi City is 70 KM from Dildarnagar Railway Station via GT Road. There is one local passenger train that connects Dildarnagar to Tarighat i.e.GHAZPURAHIYA.
Dildarnagar is located on National Highway No.97 which is known as Grand Trunk Road. Dildarnagar is located 160 km far from Patna by road. G T Road connects Zamania-Phooli-Dildarnagar-Gahmar-Buxar. Informally, Dildarnagar is divided into four parts-Dildarnagar baazar,Dildarnagar Gao,Dildarnagar Station and Dildarnagar Fatehpur.
