According to Box office India, Dhamaal had a "good to average opening" and collected Rs. 230 million (Rs. 23 crore) during its opening weekend in India. By the end of its first week, the film collected Rs. 32.24 crore. After three weeks, the film grossed Rs. 39 crore in India, and Rs. 49.75 crore worldwide. Box Office India declared it with a final verdict of Semi-Hit.
