Angelettie hosted the television show "Hip-Hop Hold 'Em" and is the "Music Consultant" for the "Notorious" movie on Fox/Searchlight Pictures-2009. Angelettie advises and consults major corporations and entertainment companies through his consulting and imaging company, "Connect The Dots Consulting, LLC.". Angelettie is married to advice columnist Lisa Angelettie MSW of GirlShrink.com and is the father of four daughters. The daughters are Alexis, Autumn, Ali and Ava.

 in the late 1980s, Angelettie and his friend Ron "Amen-Ra" Lawrence formed the conscious rap duo Two Kings in a Cipher. In 1991, they released their debut album From Pyramids to Projects on Bahia/RCA. The demise of the label eventually led to the breakup of the group in 1993, although Angelettie and Lawrence would go on to produce many tracks, both solely and together for Bad Boy.

Also on his Crazy Cat Catalogue label, Angelettie releases LP's from Noah in 2006, an Atlanta based rapper and Rearview, a pop band from Brooklyn featuring Erika Martin ( A TV personality and singer) as the vocalist and Justin Kerr (an up and coming southern New Jersey percussionist) as the group's drummer.

On November 19, 1998, Angelettie was charged with participating in the assault of Blaze Magazine editor Jesse Washington. Washington claimed that the assault was made because he published a photograph (taken with Angelettie's consent) that revealed The Madd Rapper's identity, which up until that time had been concealed from the general public but widely known in the music industry. The editor and Angelettie settled out of court.
