David Codikow is a attorney, entrepreneur and brand-consultant most notably known for being the founder of the entertainment law firm 'Codikow, Carroll, Guido & Groffman' (now known as "Carroll, Guido & Groffman") and the co-founder of the Vans Warped Tour.

Early career

In 1987 David Codikow founded the law firm of Codikow, Carroll, Guido & Groffman, a boutique entertainment Law firm specialising in music business law. The law firm represented record labels, music producers, music publishing companies, music business executives and numerous gold and platinum recording artists such as; Marilyn Manson

, co-created and co-founded the Vans Warped Tour, a musical event which marries the punk rock musical style and extreme sports (i.e. skateboarding and motorcycle jumping etc.). More than 900,000 people attend the tour in 2010 alone, its 16th year anniversary. The Vans Warped Tour has the distinction of being the longest running rock n roll festival in America.

2001 to 2006

In 2001 Codikow left the practice of law and became President of Immortal Entertainment, a full service music and entertainment company.  While at Immortal, among other things, David co-created the “O Brother Where Art Thou Down from the Mountain” musical event in partnership with T-Bone Burnett

In 2005, Codikow co-created Jamarama Live, an educational interactive musical event for children and their families. Jamarama Live, in its first year, played more than 30 dates in the United States, selling thousands of tickets to families with children ages 2–7. Jamarama Live was also featured in the February 13, 2006 issue of Time Magazine.

2007 to Present

In 2007, Codikow joined the advisory board of BetaRecords.com, a social network/music website, helping the company to create its own Beta Records TV, which features music and lifestyle entertainment targeted to a 13 to 18-year-old demographic. Codikow now co-produces the television show which airs in over 100 markets in the United States, and advises Beta Records on its entertainment strategy, music publishing and rights management.

In 2008, Codikow entered into a partnership with the songwriter Diane Warren

Due Voci performs new, reinterpreted version of Diane Warren's biggest hits. Due Voci's first concert performance took place in Jakarta, Indonesia in March 2010. From 2009, Codikow has been consulting for Studio One Media, a public company which has created My Studio, a new high definition audiovisual recording studio, and other products for the entertainment business. In particular Studio One has developed new high definition audiovisual/recording studios which are placed in malls around the world and other high traffic areas. Earlier this year Codikow was instrumental in negotiating an agreement with Studio One Media and Simon Cowell

In 2010, Codikow started a management and brand consulting company named 'DC Media Ventures'.

Codikow also consults for world renowned jewellery designer Loree Rodkin on various brand extension opportunities, and was instrumental in negotiating Rodkin's "Love & Rock" product line with Home Shopping Network. Rodkin will appear on Home Shopping Network during the fourth quarter of 2011.

Since early 2011, Codikow began managing the international fashion publicist, global television personality and New York Times best-selling author Kelly Cutrone
