Oz is the author of the national bestseller The Dorm Room Diet (Newmarket Press, 2006) and The Dorm Room Diet Planner (Newmarket Press, 2007). The Dorm Room Diet was re-published in 2010 to include a chapter of healthy recipes that could be made on college campuses, as well as a new chapter on food politics in America and the consumer's role in promoting an environment where a healthy lifestyle is the easy, accessible and affordable choice. She has also written articles for Glamour Magazine, Oprah.com, and The Huffington Post.

In 2011, Oz launched a syndicated column covering health, relationship, and lifestyle advice with Creators Syndicate. Oz's column, entitled "Food for Thought," debuted nationally in June 2011.

Public Speaking

Oz speaks about health, wellness, and lifestyle issues, conscious cooking, and consumer education and empowerment, with a particular emphasis on encouraging practical steps towards better living.
