Tabera was then released and went on to defeat two successive opponents (one via decision, one via submission) in separate promotions.

Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki tournament

Tabera then entered the 209 lb (Light Heavyweight) KSW tournament. His quarter-final opponent was Grigor Aschugbabjan. Tabera claimed the majority decision victory to move onto the semi-final the same night. From here, he defeated Attila Vegh via kneebar with just three seconds remaining in the first round. This marked the second time that Tabera had faced more than one opponent on the same night.
