Plans

 currently owns original Macy's location, however, as of now, no official opening date has been announced, expected to open no earlier than 2012. Plans are to convert the three-level anchor store area to either a one- or two-level store, subject to city approval.

A more recent report states that Hunt Development plans on building a new Target store as part of their expansion of nearby ABQ Uptown, likely putting an end to Target's plans for a store at Coronado Center.
