Career

Hough received her nickname Tuffy, from her stepfather because she did daring skating moves. She competed early in her career with Kevin Wheeler, winning the 1982 novice title.

Later, she teamed up with Ladret, and in 1985 they won the bronze medal at Canadian nationals. Their best season was 1987-8, when they won the national title as well as Skate Canada International
