Cancer genome sequencing is the resequencing of genomes of several human cancers.
It is an effort and a necessity, in the War on Cancer
to improve cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prevention through a better understanding of the molecular basis of this disease.
There are two main projects: the Cancer Genome Project, based at the Wellcome Trust
