 in 2007/8 January transfer window. Burak was a success at Manisaspor in his short spell scoring 9 goals in his 16 first team performances including a hat-trick against Denizlispor in his first match.

Fenerbahçe

On 3 July 2008 Burak was sold to Fenerbahçe SK and was presented at a news conference wearing the number 7 shirt. On the contrary to his "promising youngster" image in Manisaspor and Beşiktaş, he had been a disappointment during his spell in Fenerbahçe for the 2008/09 season, playing only 5 games.

Trabzonspor

In February 2010 Burak was transferred permanently to Trabzonspor. Since joining the club, he recovered his goalscoring form, helping his side to second in the league in the 2010-11 season. He was Trabzonspor's leading goalscorer with 19 league goals from 30 games. In July 2011 he signed a new 4-year contract. Burak is currently 2nd in the 2011 goal statistic for 13 goals in 8 games.

International Career

On 3rd June 2011, Burak scored his first international goal against Belgium in a Euro 2012 qualifyer from a light pass from team mate Arda Turan
