Brad Kohler
Encyclopedia
Brad Kohler is an American
mixed martal artist
who competes in the Heavyweight
division.
against Steve Judson, where he scored one of the more infamous knockouts
in MMA history. 30 seconds into Round 1, Kohler feigned a takedown
attempt, only to land an explosive right cross
. Judson was KO'd instantly, and suffered a deep gash
to his chin at the point of impact. Remaining unconscious and showing signs of having difficulty breathing, referees immediately signaled to the medical staff who administered oxygen treatment to Judson, who was taken out via stretcher to the local hospital.
He recently made his return to MMA after a near 6 year hiatus against Travis Fulton
where he lost via KO in the first round 1:01 at CFX - Mayhem in Minneapolis.
Mr. Kohler graduated from Fairview Park High School in Fairview Park, Ohio. He is a regular among many fitness/training facilities in the Cleveland area and has a strong following due to his amiable and generous personality. He recently started a fitness gym called Nubody fitness which, after a sting of vandalism and bad luck, was abandoned.
In an interview with sherdog Travis Wiuff
said Brad was the man who first got him into mma but said his training methods was more of "brawling with gloves", He also corners him for many of Travis' first fights & can be clearly seen in the video of a 270lb travis vs a 220lb Keith Jardine
at an early extreme challenge event.
