 electrified the line in 1935 a new station was built on the south side of Bingham Road, and opened on 30 September 1935. The last trains ran on Friday 13 May and it was officially closed from 16 May 1983. Tramlink

 is built on the site of the original halt closed in 1915 . This is not the site of the former Addiscombe railway station
