, Recari began playing golf at age 11 and enjoyed a successful amateur career, with wins at the 2004 Spanish Amateur Championship and the 2005 French Amateur Championship. In 2004, she won the European Team Championship with Team Spain, and in 2003, finished runner-up at the British Girls Amateur Championship. In 2005, she was a member of Team Europe in the Junior Solheim Cup.
