Career
Dr. Bashar Ja'afari began his work experience in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1980. He was the Third Secretary at the Syrian Embassy in Paris between 1983-1988. Dr. Ja'afari achieved the professional level of Counselor during the years of 1991-1994 while serving at the Permanent Mission of the Syrian Arab Republic to the United Nations Headquarters in New York. He served again at the Syrian Embassy in France at the level of Minister Counselor in 1997-1998.
