Overview

Bank Windhoek is a large financial services provider in Namibia. , the bank is the second-largest commercial bank in the country, based on assets, with an asset base in excess of US$2.08 billion. The bank offers a broad range of banking services to individuals, small to medium enterprises (SMEs) and large corporations. Services include retail banking, corporate banking, finance trade, mortgage services and microfinance funding, among other products.

Bank Windhoek is a 100% subsidiary of Bank Windhoek Holdings Limited (BWHL). BWHL is itself a subsidiary of Capricorn Investment Holdings (CIH), which maintains a 73% shareholding in BWHL. Capricorn is a large financial conglomerate, with interests in three Southern Africa
