The Bahārlou, also spelled Baharloo, Baharlooe (Persian
: بهارلو), are an Turkic
ethnic group of Fars (Pars), Kerman
, Azarbaijan and Khorasan. All of which are provinces in Iran
. The mother tongue of most Baharlous is Persian
, however a number of Baharlous have Turkic
as mother tongue.
The Baharlou was one of the Qezelbash tribes.
Many Baharlous live in the district of Darab
, home to the army of Darius the great. There are also a number of Baharlous which in the 14th century settled down in areas around Shahrekord
in Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari
