In 1995,Audain was awarded an MBE for her services to sport. February 2008 she was inducted into the Running USA Hall of Champions and on the 3rd of February 2009 she was inducted into the New Zealand Sports Hall of Fame.It is a unique distinction to be in 2 Halls of Fame in 2 nations.
In 1993 Audain founded the Idaho Women's Fitness Celebration 5K, now the largest 5k for women in the USA . www.celebrateall.org
