The school
Annapolis Royal Regional Academy was built in early 1882. It was only known as Annapolis Royal Academy when it was first built. It is approximately five minutes away from Annapolis West Education Center, the high school. Not many people attended Annapolis Royal Regional Academy for a few years after it was built. So now, after 119 years, many children are attending the school. Although there are currently rumors about the school being shut down due to lack of students. If this happened the elementary schools would be grades primary-6, and the high school 7-12.School teams
The after school sports team is the ARRA Royals. The mascot is a lion with a red crown, hence the name "royal" There are different intramural teams, too. The intramural games are played at lunch. In the past few years they have been starting to change a bit though and might be changed. If changed instead of being class versus class they would be group versus group. These groups would consist of students from all grades.
