In recent years, he has developed the field of BioArt and was Chair of the Posthumanism theme and Executive Committee member for the 2009 International Symposium of Electronic Art. He is also part of the Organizing Committee for the Abandon Normal Devices festival of new cinema and digital culture, cultural programme related to the London 2012 Olympics and 2012 Paralympic Games.
